Tuesday was a fantastic day! Two of my lovely, long-term customers hosted a party for me (their seventh, I think!), and we all had such a great time. Honestly, if you haven't hosted a Stampin' Up! party yet, you really don't know what you're missing! They're a fabulous opportunity for a good old chatty get-together - with cake! -  and a chance to share in some of the crafty things that I'm really passionate about. I had a really tough time deciding what to focus on this time, as there are so many GORGEOUS new things in our Autumn Winter catalogue, but I decided to go with my favourite thing of the moment, the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die.

Gift boxes are always SO useful, and they can be so expensive, so I love it when something comes along that can be customised to suit every individual, and every event. I've been having so much fun with this die! You can dress it up, or dress it down, and it's just a perfect size. Over the next few days I'll be sharing some of the brilliant things you can do with it, so watch this space...

The pumpkin in the picture is one of the samples I took along (not my idea, I'm sorry to say, but I found something similar on Pinterest and couldn't resist). Isn't it brilliant? I have to say I'm not too sure about the expression, I've got this niggling feeling that it looks a bit like a puppy. Is it just me? I love it nevertheless and the ladies at the party did too. Oh - and you know I keep going on about Stampin' Up!'s Gorgeous Grunge stamp set? Well, guess what created the pumpkinny all-over pattern? Yup! The smile uses the bit that the die cuts out of the handle bit of the box, snipped around a bit obviously, and the eyes and nose are petals from the ever-present Petite Petals punch. The leaves are from the Flower Fair Framelits, and the lovely curly tendrils are just ultra-thin strips of card that I curved around the handle of my paper piercer.

**Edited** The sentiment is from an exclusive hostess set "Good Greetings", that was available at the time I originally wrote this post. Sadly, it's no longer around, but there are other fab goodies you can bag yourself when you host a party with me.

Find out more about hosting a Stampin' Up! party here.

Then get in touch to book. It's easy. You can call me or email me - details for both are here.

Back soon with more Curvy Keepsake ideas. Thanks for visiting! xx

Hello! I've been going on and on about how versatile the "Work of Art" stamp set is, from Stampin' Up!, and I've been promising to post some more pictures for you. Yay! I finally got the chance to take them!

Talk about your creativity only being limited by your imagination!

I love the card in this main picture! It's one of a set created by my lovely upline Bekka, and I've been dying to share these with you.

This next one is going to prove very useful in the months to come, I'm sure. So quick and easy to do! This one is un-blinged, but I think I might add some rhinestones when I make it again. In Bekka's original, she'd popped a glimmer paper star at the top of the tree, but I stamped it a bit further up the card and didn't leave myself room. Intentionally, of course. Ahem..

I'm thinking I should have added a sentiment at the top right, what do you think? One of the Christmassy ones from the "Good Greetings" would work well. I might tweak this a bit.

The final one I'm going to share with you is totally different again. Isn't this butterfly fab? Again, really quick and easy to do.

If you'd like to recreate any of these cards, then all the products needed are available through my Online Shop. I've listed all the main items in the table at the end of this post, and you just need to click on the thumbnails to be taken to the item in question. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for popping in. See you soon... xx

Happy New Year! Yes, really - today is the first day of a brand new Stampin' Up! year, so I'm feeling all full of new beginnnings and promise. I love milestone days like this. I know that, in reality, it's just another day, but I love taking the opportunity to think over the past twelve months (it's been an interesting time, and not always in a good way) and to plan and set goals for the year to come. Sort of wiping the slate clean, you know? A fresh start.

I'm excited about it all! xx
