Okay - hands up: who loves a freebie?

Second question: who loves a Stampin' Up! sneak peek?

Final question: who wants a Stampin' Up! sneak peek AND a freebie?

My guess is that pretty much everyone reading this will have said a resounding "Yes!" to all three of those. I certainly did. Well, I've got good news for you: this month you can get even MORE than a sneak peek - you can actually get your hands some advance products from the forthcoming Stampin' Up! catalogue! I know, right!!

The new catalogue doesn't go live until the 1st June, but you can get your sticky mitts on the Eastern Palace bundle right away, INCLUDING three of the brand new In Color inkpads - no need to wait! And it's gorgeous, too! Just have a look at this:

Stampin Up Eastern Palace Premier Bundle

Just look at those colours! Luscious or what? I just love them! And those dies and co-ordinating vinyl stickers are seriously clever. I promise you, you're going to get LOADS of use out of these.

The picture above shows the Premier Bundle. It's available now for £94 (€125.75) and is amazing value. Here's what you'll get:

If you look closely, you'll see that you're getting a pack of free Very Vanilla envelopes, AND a free pack of the brand new Thick Very Vanilla cardstock. I'm so excited about this! Very Vanilla card blanks sound like something you'd want to make? Our Whisper White Thick cardstock has gone down a storm this year, and I'm so pleased we're getting the Very Vanilla equivalent now. Makes life SO MUCH EASIER when you want to have card bases that are neutral.

If you can't stretch to the Premier Bundle, or if you don't have a Big Shot, then why not go for the Starter Bundle instead. It's just £54.75 (€73.50) and includes everything in the picture below:

Everything you'll need to make some gorgeous projects: stamps, Designer Series Paper, those brand new In Color inkpads and lush gold vinyl stickers, PLUS a free pack of the brand new Very Vanilla Notecards and envelopes. Amazing value! Here's a list of everything that's included in the Starter Bundle:

Click on any of the images above and you'll be taken straight to the bundle of your choice, or, if you want to treat yourself to some other goodies too, click on the link below and you'll go to the front page of my shop.

Cick here to go to my Online Shop.

One last thing: if you use the current Hostess Code (it's over there in the sidebar) then I'll send you an extra little something to say thank you. Just pop the code in the box when you check your order out.  (If your order comes to £150 or more, though, don't use the code; instead, enjoy earning at least 10% in Stampin' Rewards - that's free stuff! - and get even more value for your money.)

My Premier Bundle is on its way, so look out for some project ideas when it arrives. I can't wait!

I have to admit that when I first saw the KInda Eclectic stamp set it didn't really call to me. I'm not naturally a vintage-y, distress-y kind of a crafter. I finally bought it when I got chance to play with it for a while at a team event, and I decided that, actually, it was a pretty handy set to have. Since that time, I've used it SO much, and I love it! Well, it's retiring at the end of May, and I'm going to miss it - it's turned into one of my "go-to" stamp sets for all kinds of occasions.

This card is another one from my April class. I wanted something that was more understated than the others, and I really love this colour combination and the soft collaging effect that you can get so easily when you pick up Kinda Eclectic. I thoroughly enjoyed making it, and the ladies at my class loved it as well. I hope you do, too.

Here's a closer look:

Kinda Eclectic Birthday Card

Can you believe that the oh-so-useful Bitty Butterfly punch has now sold out???!!!!! I'm in mourning for it!

Kinda Eclectic is, at the time of writing this, still available in the cling-mount format, so if you haven't got yours yet, you still can - but be quick, 'cause more things are selling out every day. I'll pop the links to everything I've used on the card (except the punch, for obvious reasons), down at the bottom of this post. Don't forget to use the current Hostess Code if your order is between £20 and £150, and I'll pop a little gift in the post to you as a thank you.

If you're in the UK, in the Ipswich area, and you fancy coming along and joining in with my classes, then we'd love to see you! Booking is now open for the May class, and you can find all the information you need over on my Class Schedule page. We always have a fantastic afternoon, and you'd be made very welcome, so do bag yourself a place if you can.

Thanks for dropping in!

Hey there! It's been a while.... I've been poking around and tidying my blog up a bit, and trying to get some other things in order, and somehow it's been AGES since I actually posted anything on here. If you're still out there, thanks for sticking with me - you deserve a medal!

I ran my monthly "Mostly Cards" class on Saturday. The theme this month was birthdays, and we had an absolute ball creating four totally different cards. I love these classes! They're such a great chance to get together for some fun crafting and some good old nattering - and of course cups of tea (thanks Janina!) and maybe the odd choccy biccy or two. I'm always shattered afterwards, but I love love love doing them. If you haven't got out and crafted with others recently, then I really would encourage you to do just that. It's so good for you! And if you're able to get to Kesgrave on the fourth Saturday of the month, why not come and join us? We'd love to see you, and I can promise you you'll have a fabulous time!

The photo shows one of the cards we made, and it uses a brilliant stamp set that, sadly, is retiring at the end of May. It's called "Build A Birthday" and at the time of writing is still available from my Online Shop. I'll pop links at the bottom of the post, in case you want to pop over and bag one for yourself before they sell out. I've been practising my photography - what do you think?

Here's a closer look:

Build A Birthday Card by Becki Ritson

The set is more obviously geared towards creating a tiered birthday (or wedding, I suppose) cake, but I wanted to change it around a bit and use the individual layers as candles instead. I really like the way it works. The background is stamped with some of the other stamps in the set; it always amazes me how much our stamped backgrounds look like proper printed paper. You really can't beat our Whisper White for stamping on.

Pretty much everything on this card is about to retire. The colours are retiring "In Colors", the stamps are leaving us and the Lucky Stars embossing folder is also going. The ever-useful Stitched Shapes framelits are staying though (hooray!!!), as is the Triple Banner punch that I used on the sentiment strip. I'm SO going to miss Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron!!!!!

I'll pop another card from the class up in a couple of days, so do pop back to have a look and let me know what you think. In the meantime, I'll leave you with the links to everything used in this card. Grab them while you still can...

Thanks for dropping in. xx
